Footprints in the Dark

When I can't see clearly,

You are there to protect me
You are there to caress me
You are there to guide me
You are there to hide me
I know you’re still there

You are there to replenish me
You are there to refinish me
You are there to feed me
You are there to teach me
I know you’re still there

I feel your power
Even when I am weak
I hear your voice
Even when I cannot speak
I feel your peace
Even when confusion is all around
I feel contentment
Even when happiness cannot be found
I feel your love
Even when I have missed the mark
I see your footprints
Even in the dark
