I came across this beautiful quote on my brother's blog. It struck me. So, I grabbed it and decided to post it over here on mine.

This darkness that I live in every day was good for something... I learned how to fly.

That is a wonderful qupte. It speaks to us all, if only we are willing to listen.
Every day, we step into the darkness when we cross a busy street, drive our vehicles, walk the streets at night to go no where in particular, and the like.
Faith is being able to take that walk and know, believe everything is going to be alright.
I too step out into the darkness and learn to fly - every day.
